Sun Angel Undergraduate Research Awards
Majors in religious studies are eligible to apply for a Sun Angel Undergraduate Research Award to support independent research with a faculty member in religious studies. In 2003 two Religious Studies majors -- Mr. Nate Hofer and Mr. Vince Gonzalez-- received Sun Angel Awards. The $1000 award is given to students who successfully complete a research paper in the context of a three credit independent study with a faculty advisor. These awards are made in the fall and spring semesters.

Kertzer and Alpert Scholarship Awards
The Kertzer Scholarship Award and the Alpert Scholarship Award in Jewish Studies provide support for students engaged in projects relating to the study of Judaism and Jews. These scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of a competitive application process. Please contact Professor Joel Gereboff at (480) 965-7738, or by e-mail at joel.gereboff@asu.edu, for further information about these scholarships.
